The playoffs slipping away

Foxboro, MA - James Stewart had the ball and the lead with under 90 seconds remaining. The
1999 Jaguars couldn’t have asked for a better situation. According to Pro-Football-Reference,
Jacksonville had a 99.5% chance of winning the game. Credit to Tom Brady who took advantage
of the mistake with an outstanding performance going 37-for-49 with 422 yards and 4 TDs.

Warner Bowl II

Glendale, AZ - Round one was a complete dud. Luckily for the fans who paid a visit, they got their
moneys worth in the rematch. The 1999 Rams (11-4) needed the win to set up a winner-take-all
week 17 battle against San Francisco. The Rams QB did his part winning player of the game
honors. His late touchdown to James Hodgins was the difference in a dramatic road win, 31-28.

All-Time Halftime Speech

Indianapolis, IN - It must have been some halftime speech from Colts’ head coach Tony Dungy.
In the second half and overtime, it looked like a completely different team. Peyton Manning
turned around his horrific first half and the defense shut out the Jets over their final seven drives.
Bryan Fletcher (#81) completes the comeback with a 70-yard touchdown catch in overtime.
